A DJ and producer whose roots lay in Eastern Europe’s Ukraine. Vakula has become known for his residency at Moscow’s Propaganda club, where he played a great part in the successes of the Friday’s Voices party, an event by the charismatic Nina Kraviz. His Afro-American influenced music breathes culture as it sits perfectly with the current house-revival, but is in truth much closer to his Ukrainian heritage than we might initially assume.
